Where did she get that #2

Shocking stuff this Saturday on X-Factor...Caroline Flack ditched her favourite short, shorts and was wearing a skirt!!!

She looked so good and has actually stolen my outfit choice for my bday night out (bitch!) which was a military shirt and leather skirt! I may have to modify my outfit slightly now though as the skirt Caroline was wearing looked incredible and definitely tops my primarni special!!!

You can get the skirt from Zara here for £59.99 http://www.zara.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product/uk/en/zara-neu-W2012/269188/827445/QUILTED%20LEATHER%20SKIRT and her military shirt was from Miss guided for £22.99 http://www.missguided.co.uk/amie-military-shirt

What did you think of her outfit?

Feb Faves

NB: I wrote this a couple of weeks ago but never posted due to no internet for a while but here it is anyway...better late than never ay?!!!

My first ever favourites post for you today...hope you enjoy! I love reading others favourites...probably because I'm just a bit nosy though! What have you been loving for the month of February?

From Left:
Real Techniques Stippling brush
: I brought this from boots a couple of weeks ago and I have to say at first I wasn't keen as it seems a lot smaller than my ELF powder brush, which I usually use for my liquid foundation, however now I have got used to it I love it...it really does give that airbrushed effect which you just cant achieve with your fingers!

Revlon matte lipstick in Pink Pout: I have been loving matte lips this month
which is a change for me but this colour is gorgeous and suitable for both day and night.

Natural Collection blush in pink cloud: This is my 2nd natural collection blush and I have to say for £1.99 they are amazing...this is a really pretty colour and although the packaging isn't great the actual product I find to be really nice especially for fairer skin tones.

Revlon Photo Ready foundation: This for me is an amazing foundation. The price is not ridiculous at about £12 a bottle, it gives fantastic coverage, it gives a lovely glow to the skin without being oily and the packaging is really nice with a pump to dispense the product so you don't waste any. What more can I say, this isn't the first time I have purchased this and definitely wont be the last!

Simple clear skin oil balancing moisturiser: The moisturiser is great for those of us with oily skin...I suffer from very oily skin and this leaves my skin soft and matte and is a great base for my foundation.

Lady Million by Paco Rabanne perfume: My fiance brought this for me for V day and I LOVE it! next time your in boots I urge you to go have a sniff you wont be disappointed!

Barry M Nail paint in Strawberry Ice cream: For me this is the perfect pastel pink for my nails...very feminine and girly but not too Barbie-esque!

Spring is definitely on its way here in England...I cant wait till the end of the month when the clocks go back and we start having lighter evenings...also I'm having a bit of time off work around Easter so I'm looking forward to that too.

I have been mega busy lately due to the fact that my fiance and I have finally set a date for our wedding so have been looking at venues...exiting!!! More on that soon!

Have a great week,
Love Bri. x

Im loving...grey and neon

Neons are going to be big this spring/summer and I'm not usually a fan. They can be hard to wear and I don't think they are flattering for my (pale) skin tone! However I am most definitely warming to them and particularly when they are teamed with the colour grey.
I don't think I have the confidence to go all out with these acid yellow skinnys from Topshop, but I think a neon accent in the form of a clutch bag or belt would definitely spice up the grey speckle t-shirt dress which I seem to wear nearly every other day at the moment!

1. Grey speckle T-shirt dress, Topshop, 2. Acid Yellow skinny jeans, Topshop, 3. Grey and pink Brogues, Topshop, 4. Neon floral shopper, Topshop, 5. Neon blue nail varnish, American Apparel, 6. Neon green belt, ASOS, 7. Neon orange Cambridge satchel, ASOS

What do you think of the neon trend?

Weekend wants #02

1. Fashionology Cross Bracelet £13.40: This is such a cute bracelet, which I first spotted on Beauty Crush's Youtube.

2. Barbour waxed jacket £199.95: So bloody expensive but so bloody amazing! This is actually the mens jacket but I prefer the cut of it. I see this as more of an investment...it will never go out of fashion and is actually a sensible coat (eg. warm and waterproof).

3. Topshop sunglasses £16: I have wanted some large rounded sunglasses for ages and spotted these babies today...I told myself I would stop buying loads of cheap sunglasses and invest in good quality pair once a year, but I may have break that promise for these beauts!

4. Topshop animal stud sweater £35: I have actually brought this already as I saw in online earlier this week and added it to my wishlist, but I saw it in store on Wednesday I thought to myself If I don't get it now it will sell out and I'll be gutted I didn't get it...so I got it! (great justification to myself there!).

5. Estée Lauder Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator £46: I am obsessed with skincare at the moment...mainly because I have actually got a good routine now which seems to be helping! This is next to buy on my skincare wishlist!

6. American Apparel Disco pants £70: Who doesn't want a pair of these at the moment...Ive been trying to track down some cheaper versions online...no luck so far :( let me know If you know of any!

This week I have mostly...

Been listening to...

I literally cant get enough of this song at the moment...no doubt I will completely play it to death and end up not liking it in a couple of weeks!

Been Eating...

I'm meant to be eating healthy but I cant resist a cup of tea and biscuits to cure the afternoon slump!

Been watching...

I love 24. My fiance and I worked our way through 7 series of it when we were at Uni. We never got round to watching the final series when it started on SKY though so we have just started watching it and its sooo good! If you have never seen an episode then I cant recommend it enough!

Been reading...

http://www.llymlrs.com/

If you aren't following Lily already then I don't know where you have been! Her sense of style is second to none and I love to read her reviews on http://www.etcllymlrs.com/ even if she does make me spend all my money! Definitely my favourite blog!

http://afluenza.blogspot.com/

I only realised this week that Victoria from VeeVeeVogue on Youtube has a blog as well, her style is amazing and she comes across as such a lovely girl! You should go check out her blog and Youtube channel NOW (if you haven't already!)

Been wanting...

I don't usually read much but when I do get into a good book I cant put it down and I think if I had a kindle, I would definitely read more! ha!

Been Buying...

Benefit's Porefessionally Pretty set. Diet Coke are running a promotion at the moment where they are giving £5 off any Benefit purchase online, over £20 so I though brilliant I can go online and get The Porefessional (Which i have wanted for ages) and get £5 off. The set, which includes small sizes of Erase Paste and Girl Meets Pearl is the same price as The Porefessional on its own but is only limited edition so had sold out online. Plus even If I had brought it, P+P is £4 so I would only have saved a pound! SO ANYWAAAY...I went to Debenhams and they had 2 sets left in the store so I couldn't say no!!! plus I had a gift card in my purse with £2 left on it so I still got it a little cheaper! Keep an eye out for my first product review on this, will hopefully post next week!

What have you been mostly doing this week?

What I wore today #02

Dress-Topshop, Belt-Topshop, Leather jacket-H+M, Boots-Topshop.

This is what I wore last night to a meal and a few drinks for a friends birthday. I also wore my black fur stole with it. It was a fun night catching up with some old friends eating pizza and drinking desperado's, my favourite drink ever!

Also just wanted to say a little thank you to you lovely people for following my blog. Its exiting knowing someone might actually be reading this rubbish! Also means I'll have to keep it up now! :)

Hope you are having a lovely weekend!

January Glossybox

My January Glossybox arrived this morning, and I was so exited to see a bright pink box!
This month was themed around valentines day with some lovely goodies to pamper yourself before your hot date.

Left to right:
1. FAB Gentle body wash. I haven't heard much about the brand FAB before but after a little 'googling' I found out the range is fragrance free, contains no parabens, harsh chemicals or colourants, is allergen tested and comes recommended by dermatologists, so perfect for sensitive skin like mine. Being a body wash though I usually like mine to smell fresh and fruity and this smells of nothing! However I will definitely be giving this a try and possibly looking into their facial skincare products as I think i would benefit more from their products on my face, where my skin is most sensitive.

2. WELEDA One step cleanser and toner. I received a full size Weleda body oil back in the July Glossybox but never actually got round to using it! This smells very similar to the body oil (sort of a fruity/medicinal scent) which I am not overly keen on but I am always up for trying new cleansers so will give this a go tonight I think!

3. EYEKO Skinny eyeliner in Emerald Green. I'm gutted that this came in green. When ever i get makeup samples in my Glossybox they are always GREEN! why?!! After reading Gemma's and Emma's posts I found out they got a light pink colour, similar to Benefits Eye Bright, which I would of much preferred but never mind! Potential pressie for my Mum!

4. MURAD Hybrids skins perfecting primer-dewy finish. I used the primer this morning and was pleasantly surprised. I don't really buy into the whole primer thing, maybe because Ive never used a good one? But this did actually work! My make up is still in place 10 hours later and it did give a nice dewy finish. However at £29 for the full size I don't think i like it that much!

5. ORLY Nail lacquer in Ruby. I haven't tried an Orly nail varnish before but after a quick test this looks like a lovely deep red colour and very good quality (doesn't need more than one coat). Will definitely be giving this a try!

Overall I was pleased with this months box and I am never disapointed with the presentation of the box. Other reviews I have seen had some different bits in such as some Clarins creams, but I wasn't too fussed as I have had bad experiences with Clarins products in the past (majorly breaking me out!)

Are you subscribed to Glossybox? What did you think of this months box?!

Tuxedo nails!

Following on with my love for Zooey Deschanel I have copied her tuxedo nails that she wore for the Golden Globes 2012 and they were surprisingly easy to do...okay I may have had a little help with the bows on my right hand from the Boyf lol! But apart from that they were quite quick and simple!

First I applied a layer of Barry M nail paint in white

Then using the Models Own nail art pen I painted on black tips, 3 dots for buttons and a tiny little bow tie!

Then after my nails had dried completely I finished off with a topcoat of Models own clear nail varnish.

Hope you like them?!

Weekend wants #01

It has been such a long time since I got paid, as over Christmas my company pays our wages early, which is good at the time but 6 weeks later I'm skint and itching to get out and buy some new things!
Here are some bits I've got my eye on!

1. Topshop textured foil tee £30. I love this tee, its the perfect combination of casual yet stylish, which I love and you can easily dress it up or down. I have been lusting after this for ages so if I dont get my hands on it I know I will regret it!

2. Soap and Glory Kick Ass Concealer £10. I have seen some really good reviews on this concealer, It has two shades of concealer and a setting powder all in one little compact and recently Ive been getting a bit bored of my Bourjois healthy mix concealer so I think I'm gonna give it a go.

3. Topshop Speckle t-shirt dress £29. I love this dress so much. I seem to be drawn to anything grey and speckley at the moment and again this is perfect for dressing up or down, good for layering and a nice transition piece to take me into spring/summer.

4. Urban Outfitters Aztec Scarf £16. I saw this scarf whilst browsing the UO site and fell in love! the colours are amazing and anything Aztec print is a winner in my eyes!

5. Converse Allstar Lite £37.99. I love converse trainers and have quite a few pairs but I have never just gone for a pair in plain black. I cant decide between the lite Allstars or normal though?!

6. Benefit The Porefessional £23. The Blogging world is going crazy for this product at the moment and of course being a sucker for anything benefit I am so tempted to try it. However the £23 price tag is majorly putting me off. I may have a sneaky look on ebay to see if I can find it a bit cheaper!

Have a lovely weekend.

Im Loving...Zooey Deschanel

Zooey is currently starring in the new sitcom on channel 4 called 'New Girl' which my fiance and I are loving so much! She also stars in 500 days of summer and Almost famous which are a few of my favourite films of all time!

Her style is cute, classy, vintage and quirky all rolled into one and she does it so effortlessly!

Refreshers

This Spring/Summer Pastels are going to be huge, which I am so exited about! I cant get anough of pastels, and being a natural ginge they work really well with my skin tone, compared to bright and bold colours! The colours are beautiful and really remind me of a pack of Refreshers sweets!
There are loads of great buys on the highstreet...I have just picked out a few of my favourites!
